Jamaica has embargo on the plastic bins the group is using. So I got 20 boxes to repack mission supplies.

Early start

4:55am...someone told me it existed. Headed to ATL to meet grouo bound for Jamaica maan.

I made the first leg og the Jamaica trip to Atlanta. A nite in Atl and head for Jam at 5:30am.

Philippines Epilogue

The March trip to the Philippines is over. I used a T-Mobile MDA phone to post the messages. I was surprised at the coverage I had especially in places like Jolo and Parang.

If you have any questions, comments or ideas please email me. The technology keeps improving and it will be interesting to see where it takes us as far as mobile blogging.

I'll be traveling soon again so until next time...

36 hours later Atlanta

Well 36 hours later I am just about home. The last time I was out of an airport I was 5 degrees above the equator protected by armed soldiers worried about snipers. I Now I'm back behind the red white and blue curtain...

Basilan Island

Michael and I catch a ride out of Jolo. Couldn't send pic messages out of Jolo. In the distance you can see Basilan Island where the Burnams were held in 2001. The AFP has cleaned the island up and it is much more peaceful.

I catch a ride from Zamboanga to Jolo via helicopter. We are flying over the Sulu Sea.
